I grew up in Anaheim and I always loved Halloween, I would go downtown and look at the paintings on the windows of the stores. In 1964 my Uncle was in the parade and my family was so excited to see him. My Uncle was Odra Chandler he was the Mayor of Anaheim, plus he also got the Anaheim Stadium built.
Just loved the parade with the jail float I always wanted to ride in that float. The parade would go down Anaheim Blvd and my parents knew a lot of the business owners so we always had a great place to watch the parade.
My family has a lot of history here in Anaheim.
